Scott in Salem Thanks for checking out Subsonic Skateboards! Do you love rolling four wheels down a hill at high speed? How about sliding your board around hairpin turns and then pulling out a big pendulum slide at the bottom? Do you get stoked on a fast clean run through a tight set of cones with off-sets and stingers? Are you addicted to the thrill of riding the vertical wall of a deep bowl or the rolling terrain of a skate park. Do you love skateboarding? I do! The best part is that you don't need to be a pro to have a great session. You may just love the mellow flow of rolling down the road or reaching your goal of 100 miles at an Ultra Skate. At Subsonic, it's all skateboarding and it's all good and you better love it.

I have been building skateboards for ten years now. How did this happen? Well, I have a lot of friends who like to ride custom boards and wont let me quit. I personly press all my boards into complex shapes with concave, camber, rocker and drops. They are constructed of Baltic Birch in nine to fifteen plys. Carbon fiber and fiberglass are now standard options for increased life and performance. Thanks to Longboard Larry, maple veneers will soon be available to us locally. Look for all maple DH boards, like the Buckshot, in the near future. Speaking of the future, please checkout the "Future" section. You will see new boards under construction and testing. Let me know what interests you so I can push those projects ahead. I am a custom builder. So if you want a particular deck to be longer, more narrow or whatever, Subsonic can do it. Every wood deck is protected by three coats of waterborne polyurethane. If your Subsonic skateboard breaks or has any ply separation under normal use, it will be replaced.

When I can pull myself from the wood shop, you will find me racing slalom and speed boards or getting in a session at one of our many outdoor parks. We have a very skilled and competitive group of skaters in the Northwest. The Portland skate scene has a positive vibe and most skaters share their knowledge so that everyone gets better. This personal expansion of skateboarding styles and skill has a direct effect on my deck designs. The Subsonic focus is on performance. My boards, however, will always be distinguishable from the usual industry suspects. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

Enjoy the ride,
Scott
